The Dia Group has set up the new Executive Committee that is made up of seven members and headed up by the CEO, Borja de la Cierva.<\/strong> The aim is to drive the changes that the company faces to make the store offer more attractive for clients, simplify processes, improve efficiency, and be a leader in the food distribution sector.<\/p>

There are two new additions to the Executive Committee:<\/p>

Mari\u0301a Miralles, Executive Director of Transformation<\/strong>, has joined the Dia Group to head up the company \u0301s transformation project and to ensure the execution of the business plan. Mari\u0301a Miralles has extensive knowledge of the distribution sector as a partner for the last 13 years of Oliver Wyman, where she will remain a partner. Mari\u0301a has extensive experience in transformation processes in Europe, North America, and Latin America.<\/p>

Pedro Barsanti, Executive Director of IT,<\/strong> has joined the company to strengthen the business through technology, focusing on adapting the company to client demands and ensuring organisational efficiency. Pedro Barsanti has more than 25 years of experience in technology and digital transformation in companies in the distribution sector, for which he worked as a consultant at Accenture.<\/p>

The rest of the Committee is made up of the following people:<\/p>

Miguel A\u0301ngel Iglesias<\/strong>, who was appointed as Company Secretary<\/strong> in October 2018 and who has worked for DIA for more than 20 years. In addition, since December 2018, he has been part of the Board of Directors as Executive Director.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/td><\/tr>

Faustino Domi\u0301nguez de la Torre, Executive Director Spain<\/strong>, has extensive experience after having held positions as Director of DIA banner and management of DIA Portugal.<\/p>

Enrique Weickert, Financial Executive Director,<\/strong> joined in December 2018, having previously worked at OHL.<\/p>

Alejandro Grande, Executive Director of Human Resources,<\/strong> also joined at the end of 2018, from the Management of DIA Argentina.<\/p>

Jose\u0301 Antonio Lombardi\u0301a, Executive Director of Clients,<\/strong> will help to incorporate and prioritise all client decisions.<\/p>

Commercial Area<\/p>

Alfonso Torres<\/strong> is the new Commercial Director<\/strong>, with extensive experience in the Dia Group, where he has held several positions of responsibility. All the commercial areas, purchases and sales, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs) and perishable goods will be integrated, under the leadership of Alfonso Torres.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/td><\/tr>

Financial Area<\/p>

With the aim of strengthening the financial area, Enrique Weickert has joined the company, as well as Miren Sotomayor, as Director of Reporting and Management Control<\/strong>, following more than 15 years at OHL, where she held positions such as Director of Investor Relations and Financial Director of OHL \u0301s subsidiary in the United States.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>

DIA Argentina<\/p>

Lastly, Damia\u0301n Dircie,<\/strong> until now Commercial Director of Argentina,<\/strong> has been appointed as Executive Director of Argentina. Damia\u0301n Dircie has worked for the company for 20 years, since the subsidiary was set up, and he has a solid commercial profile and business vision. One of his successes was to position DIA as a leader in terms of quality and low prices in Argentina, with an innovative marketing strategy that continues to reinforce the loyalty of our clients on a daily basis<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
