At Grupo Dia, we believe that what is truly valuable is not promised, it is done. This is the spirit with which we have shaped our new Sustainability Plan 2026-29 and it shows what drives us as a company: the action that generates Value.
And it is that V for Value that activates the levers of what defines us as a company: acting as good Neighbors, to be close to our customers; creating real Bonds with all the people who are part of Dia; committing to Healthy Living, because eating well should not be a privilege for a few, but the daily peace of mind for many; and we act with Values, putting people and the planet at the center because that is what makes a supermarket a responsible neighbor.

The “V” is the letter that drives us.
It is no coincidence that the word verb starts with V and is the engine of our commitment: because the V leads us to action. And action generates Value.
In a world of big promises, Dia chooses verbs. The new Sustainability Plan 2026-29, ‘The value of every day,’ is not born in an office, but from the conviction that what is valuable is not announced, it is done. It is the response of someone who knows the name of each of their neighbors and knows that a small gesture repeated every morning has the power to transform an entire neighborhood or town.
We act by creating real Bonds with everyone who is part of Dia. With those who work in the stores, with franchisees, with suppliers. A mutual support network where every purchase boosts the economy of the next corner.

Our Strategic Axes
And from vision to action: the Plan’s levers are translated into five strategic axes that are Dia’s way of doing things and will guide the initiatives to be developed over the next four years:

We champion high-impact proximity to enhance Dia’s position as a neighbor who accompanies its customers, employees, franchisees, and suppliers in Spain and Argentina through job creation, promoting entrepreneurship, and social contribution. That is why:
- We partner with local suppliers in Spain and Argentina to drive economic development.
- We maintain our presence in neighbourhoods and rural areas, ensuring there is always a Dia nearby.
- Our franchise network also acts as a lever for entrepreneurship and job creation within the local economy.

We embrace Accessible Well-being. Our goal is to keep making healthy and quality food accessible, by focusing on product affordability and safety. Therefore:
- We are reinforcing our commitment to fresh products in Spain and Argentina, ensuring a balanced, high-quality diet for everyone.
- We continue to make progress in improving nutrition by incorporating options tailored to emerging needs and consumer habits.

The well-being of Dia People is at the center of our decisions because we want to build and share a culture of respect, diversity, inclusion, and well-being. To achieve this:
